Nailsea and Tickenham suffered an unexpected 3-0 home defeat to St Austell.
The visitors pulled off the surprise result despite being fourth from bottom, extending their run to just one defeat in eight games.
Sponsored by St Austell Brewery, the match saw Nailsea give home debuts to new signings Owen Humphries and Dylan Tate.
St Austell took the lead within just 55 seconds of the kick-off, with Kieran Bishop capitalising on a defensive mishap to score from a Ryan Downing cross.
Six minutes later, Bishop provided for Downing, who scored from close range following another defensive error.
On the half-hour mark, St Austell skipper Neil Slateford sealed the victory with a stunning shot into the top corner, leaving Nailsea's Jacob Glover helpless.
In the second half, Nailsea introduced Steve Kingdom, Seb Scott, and Miles Hardidge, which improved their performance.
Scott came close on three occasions, with his shots either deflected or saved.
Kingdom and Humphries also threatened, but their efforts went wide.
Charlie Saunders' header was similarly thwarted by the St Austell keeper.
Despite the improved performance, Nailsea couldn't find the net.
Next, Nailsea will play at Ivy Bridge on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the reserves will host Middlezoy at Fryth Way.
