Yatton failed to make amends for last week's performance as they fell to a strong Gordano side.
They were looking to bounce back and for large parts of the game they matched their opponents.
Yatton displayed greater intensity and desire across the board.
However, shortcomings were evident, particularly in the first half, with a passive defensive line allowing Gordano to make significant inroads.
Loose passing was another area of concern, with Yatton often handing possession back to the opposition.
Despite the challenges, Yatton showed progress with strong carries, an improved scrum, and more passion in their play.

Yatton appeared to have a renewed sense of purpose, but a second interception gifted Gordano another score.
Both teams battled hard, making for a great spectacle of rugby.
However, when Yatton lost the ball while on the attack deep in the Gordano half, Gordano broke out and added one more try.

The final whistle blew with the scores at Yatton 19, Gordano 38.
Despite the loss, Yatton's performance showed promise for the rest of the season.
Greater ball protection, more accurate passing, and a more aggressive defensive line could make them a formidable opponent.
The team's joint players of the match were flanker Bob Bessant and flanker/winger Tyler King.
