Clevedon Ladies put on a brave display but were defeated by a strong Keynsham side.
They managed to hold Keynsham to a 1-1 draw at half-time, with Catherine Allin scoring an equaliser.
However, Keynsham surged ahead in the second half, netting three goals without reply.
The first quarter saw the Clevedon side, with Allin, Lucy Couzens, and Helen LeFevre, putting the Keynsham team under pressure.
Despite a valiant effort from Clevedon’s defence, including Lauren Bird and goalkeeper Christina Becker, Keynsham took the lead.
Clevedon fought back, with Hannah Becker, Maggie King, and Ellen Armstrong helping to create the equaliser.
However, the game turned after the break, with Keynsham scoring in the first minute and exploiting gaps in Clevedon's defence as the home side chased the game.
Despite their best efforts, the final whistle blew on a 2-1 defeat.
On Saturday, Clevedon are set to play against Clifton Robinsons 6th.
