Clevedon Town went top of the table with a 5-0 win over Welton Rovers.

The Seasiders dominated from the start at West Clewes, taking the lead in the ninth minute.

Joe Teall's powerful shot was initially saved by Quaye, but soon after, a corner from Freddie King rebounded off Sam Beresford, finding Glen Hayer on the edge of the box to score the opener.

With only 15 minutes on the clock, Saracen Yates' defensive header struck his own bar, and Joe Teall was stopped by Shomari Sengor after beating three defenders.

King's shot then went narrowly wide.

Hayer came close again on 20 minutes, heading James Tait's corner over the bar.

From the resulting goal kick, Beresford's pass found Camm, who scored his 50th goal for the Seasiders, making it 2-0.

Town's third came on 27 minutes, with Tait cutting in from the left, and Beresford's flick allowing Teall to power into the box and score past Quaye.

Before half-time, Hayer sent Beresford through, but Sengor cleared, and Quaye saved twice from Camm, leaving the score at 3-0.

Welton had a brief chance at the start of the second half, with Tash Linton's attempt being blocked.

Normal service resumed when Bridgman was brought down, and Camper headed Tait's free kick over.

Despite substitutions, including Harrison Kyte, Sam Ledward, Kieran Ireland, and Harrison Coker, Clevedon continued to press.

Ledward set up Kyte on 71 minutes, but his shot hit the side netting.

A minute later, Kyte found the right side of the net after Camper sent King down the left to assist Kyte's powerful shot past Quaye, making it 5-0.

Further chances came for Camper, Ledward, Camm, and Kyte, with Sengor clearing off the line from Kyte in the last minute.

The final score remained Welton Rovers 0 Clevedon Town 5, marking 18 goals in the last four games for Clevedon, with 12 different players on the score sheet.

Clevedon's next fixture is against Keynsham Town, who sit at the bottom of the table, at home on Saturday, October 14.
