Clevedon Bowling Club ended the season on a high after finishing second in the National Finals.
The quartet of Sara, Jacqui, Laura and Stef represented the club superbly at the competition held in Leamington.
Just a week later, Stef was crowned the National Ladies Champion of Champions, and Laura successfully defended her title as National 2-Wood Ladies Champion.
The club's success did not end there, as the men's team charged on and emerged victorious in the North Somerset knockout cup, overwhelmingly defeating Banwell BC by 135-51 at West Backwell on all five rinks.
Similarly, the men's B team seized the Somerset County North 2 by a margin of twelve points and are readying up for next year's competition at a higher level.
The men's A team also retained their supremacy as the top club in the county after their 12-point journey to Bath on September 1.
While the ladies have two finals of their own coming up when they play Purnells at Ashcombe BC on September 15 in the Fear Plate, and against Victoria in the Southey Final in Ilminster on September 21.
