It was a mixed day of results for the teams at Clevedon Cricket Club.
The 1st XI journeyed to Downend, Bristol, all set at 181, with star batsmen Louie Woodland, Jacob Ward and Nick Carpenter-Brooks scoring 55, 36 and 22 respectively.
Downend, however, met their goal in the 33rd over thanks to former Clevedon player Masoor Khan.
Iraq Thomas and Fraser Caddick made valiant efforts as Downend emerged victorious by seven wickets.
Varied results came as Clevedon 2nd XI hosted Winterbourne at Dial Hill.
Scoring a substantial 230-3 after batting first, with Jack Davey achieving an impressive 91 off 114 balls, followed by John Bachelor (45), Ben Wilson (38) and Josh Jenkins (23 not out).
In reply, Winterbourne finished on 181-7 with Charlie Lamprell (3-37), Mark Bibbing (2-18), Jack Davey (1-25) and Josh Jenkins (1-22), as Clevedon won by 49 runs.
