Clevedon Town and Portishead Town could not be separated in a pulsating North Somerset league derby - the first in over 50 years.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw at the Everyone Active Hand Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Both teams created a host of chances in an end-to-end encounter.
Seasiders manager Alex White said: "Overall we’ll take the point and shake hands on it.
"It was a really good game of football, a great advert for North Somerset, a great advert for the Jewson Western League between two good, well respected sides and everyone got their money’s worth tonight."
Clevedon started confidently but Portishead had the first real chance when a free kick was headed onto Ben Bament, who put his effort wide.
Portishead striker Callum Dunn received an early yellow card after a challenge on Seasiders keeper James.
The match settled down with both teams trying to get in front.
Clevedon enjoyed a good spell, keeping former number one Ryan Thacker on his toes.
On 20 minutes, Thacker dived to push away a Freddie King free kick after King had curled the ball round the wall and then saved with his legs after King got free down the right and Alex Camm smashed his cross goalwards.
A similar move by Portishead, involving ex-Seasider Ethan Feltham, ended with Bament unable to convert.
Chances went begging for Teall and Bridgman but just before half time Toby Lawrence and Callum Dunn missed the target for Portishead, leaving the half goalless.
The second half continued in the same way.
The home side were unlucky just before the hour when Glen Hayer's shot from distance skimmed the bar and shortly after Harrison Kyte’s shot took a deflection which Thacker tipped over the bar.
The game was crying out for a goal and suddenly two arrived.
Clevedon took the lead on 75 minutes when Oscar Bridgman’s cross from the right fell perfectly for leading scorer Kyte to shoot home.
The hard-earned lead lasted only three minutes when an unlucky handball on the edge of the box gave Portishead a free kick.
Mitch Osmond’s effort wrong-footed keeper Dunn and nestled in the corner of the net for the equaliser.
The game opened up as Clevedon looked to regain the lead, but an entertaining derby game ended with honours even.
