Clevedon Cricket Club delivered a smashing performance yesterday with victories across multiple matches.
Club captain Matt Carpenter, took four wickets for just 14 runs, donning new cricket boots.
It helped Clevedon restrict Wellington to 152 all out.
Jack Davey, Jack Banks, and Jacob Ward also played instrumental roles in the bowling line-up.
Clevedon later reached their target in the 32nd over, courtesy of 61 runs off 65 balls by Jacob Ward and 44 off 38 balls by Bayley Wiggins, eventually winning by two wickets.
Meanwhile, Clevedon's 2nd XI faced rivals, Portishead, and were all out for 144 runs in response to Portishead's 270-5.
Clevedon's best batting performances were from Archie Bray, Charlie Lamprell, and Josh Banks.
The Clevedon Ladies' team clashed with Whitchurch in an anticipated match.
After scoring a modest 45, Clevedon was unable to withhold a strong Whitchurch attack, resulting in a five-wicket loss.
Both teams now jointly hold the top spot in the table.
Finally, Clevedon's 3rd team challenged Churchways, managing to score 190 all out in response to Churchways' 297 all out.
Tate Cherrington made a notable mark by taking five wickets, alongside contribution from Phil Payne and Sam Hine.
