A group from Clevedon Cricket Club are celebrating the club’s 150th anniversary by cycling from London to Clevedon in three days to raise money for charity.
The team plan to leave from London’s Lord’s Cricket Ground on Thursday July 18th plan to arrive in Clevedon on Saturday July 20th, a total distance of 150 miles in just three days.
If all goes to plan on the ride then Clevedon’s cycling team will arrive in time for the Cricket Club’s first team game on the Saturday, allowing them to deliver the match ball in celebration of the 150th anniversary.
Along with the celebrations the Club is also doing this to raise some much needed money for charity Children’s Hospice South West and have started a GoFundMe page which has already reached over £200.
CHSW operate three homes across the southwest area, including Charlton Farm in North Somerset, which take care of children with life-limiting illness and their families.

Thursday 18th July – Lords to Thatcham - 60 miles
Friday 19tht July – Thatcham to Bath - 65 miles on the Kennet and Avon Canal
Saturday 20th July – Bath to ‘the Hill’ - 25 miles
