Congresbury men have rocketed up the Britannia Windows Evening League table to a commanding second place with three games in hand after recording two wins from two this week.
They claimed eight points out of the possible nine last week at Clevedon, and then the next day got 8.5 points from nine away at Chew Stoke.
The men won 72-59 against Clevedon with the rink of Trow, Norman, Jones, and Rides top scoring for the squad.
They then went on to beat Chew Stoke convincingly at 104-53. This time it was Trow along with Westlake, Wilcock, and Beck who scored the highest.
This week they play Chew Stoke at home in their last home league game of the season and then finish the season with Nailsea and then Clevedon Prom away.
In the Over 55's league, there was a loss to Portishead RBL and then a victory over Portishead.
There was also another successful home display from Congresbury A team in the County League, claiming 10 points from a possible 12 against Weston Bath which has consolidated their 4th place in the league.
