Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club has hosted its inaugural Pickleball event, 'Pickle, Pimms & Pizza'.
The event saw the quickly popularising sport, which is played on badminton-sized courts with a perforated ball, played by 28 participants.
The gathering saw a blend of seasoned and novice players.
Pickleball is an accessible sport, in which beginners can swiftly grasp the basics.
Clevedon's head coach, Matt Rogers, orchestrated the meet.
Mr Rogers said: "The turn-out was amazing, I only did a little advertising which shows how popular this sport is becoming.
He added: "It was a great opportunity to showcase our club to new people and offer something different to our own members, we look forward to doing more in the future and a competitive match fixture is already in the planning!”
Clevedon will host an Adult Tennis Open Afternoon on Saturday, July 13, offering free coaching (1pm-2pm) and organised social play (2pm-4pm).
