Nailsea and Tickenham FC have signed three new players this week ahead of their 2024/25 campaign in the Premier Division of the newly sponsored Jewson’s Western League.
First to announce their commitment to the Swags were brothers Connor and Charlie Saunders.
Connor is a midfielder who joins the club after a successful season with Totterdown and Bristol Telephones in which he made 21 appearances and scored one goal on the way to helping his team finish 11th in the Division One of the Western League.
Brother Charlie joins from Roman Glass St Geroge FC after making 42 appearances and scoring nine goals for the Bristol based club, and has been on the Swags’ radar for a while after some excellent performances in the Hellenic League
The Swags’ final signing of the week is Joe Beardwell from Western League Division One side Bitton FC.
The young striker is coming off the back of a stellar season in which he netted 25 times in his 36 appearances, figures which made him Bitton’s top goal scorer for the season by 11 goals and won him the club’s young player of the season award.
The three new players join Harry Walker to take Nailsea and Tickenham’s summer signing total to four.
