Clevedon Town have set out their provisional programme of pre-season friendlies as they look forward to the new season.

There are six games confirmed so far, with two attractive home games against new Southern League Premier Division South sides Taunton Town and Frome Town.

The Seasiders play Taunton for their fourth pre-season game in five seasons, but the first time since Taunton dropped out of the National League South and will play Frome after they went the other way last season and won promotion to the Southern League Premier division.

Home supporters will be looking forward to the return of some former fan favourites.

Danny Greaves, manager, and player Sam Teale will be returning to Clevedon with Frome Town whilst the Taunton game will see Archie Ferris’ return to North Somerset.

The now Taunton-based striker joined the local club following a successful year at Larkhall Athletic where he ended the season as his team’s top scorer with 22 goals.

There will also be three short trips to Western League First Division sides, Wells City, Bitton, and Hallen, a game at local Somerset County League Yatton & Cleeve, and an intriguing longer away day to Dobwalls who play in the South West Peninsula League West.

The club are also looking for one more away friendly on July 2nd or 3rd.

So far the Under 18s have one friendly arranged away at Slimbridge Under 18s on July 25th, kick-off 7:30pm.
