Clevedon Cricket Club’s 1st XI hosted Keynsham at Dial hill in their first league of the season and lost by a narrow two wicket margin in the last over.

Clevedon batted first and scored 214 - 8 with Tyler Leaman top scoring with 56 runs off of just 57 balls, while Sean Dickson scored 41 and Bayley Wiggins added 36.

In the end Keynsham just reached their target in the final over, with only two wickets down.

Tyler Leaman taking took one wicket for 39 runs and Bayley Wiggins took his first ever wicket for the club as he put on a solid performance to only allow 24 runs for his single dismissal.

Clevedon 2nds travelled to Lansdown.

The home team batted first and scored 146 - 8 with Fraser Caddick taking two wickets for 13 runs, Harry Fear two for 35, Jake Brand one for 13, Jacob Lillington one for 27 and Abin Roy one for 38.

In reply Clevedon reached their target with three wickets down and four overs to spare.

Dan Van Grudgings scoring 41 not out off 62 balls whilst Josh Banks hit 36 runs and Jack Davey 31.
