Counties 1 Tribute Western North: Clevedon 15-45 Old Redcliffians II
Clevedon RFC were on the receiving end of a tough defeat at the weekend at home against Old Redcliffians Seconds.
The match in the Counties One Tribute Western North division ended 15-45 in favour of the visitors.
Charlie Tucker opened the scoring for Clevedon as the hosts made a good start in the match and led 5-0.
However Old Redcliffians ran in three tries before half time to take back the lead and leave Clevedon reeling at the break.
Ethan Thomas scored a penalty on 40 minutes, but in the second half the visitors ran in four more tries with only one in reply for Clevedon, coming from Tucker again for his second of the afternoon.
Up next for Clevedon is an away trip to take on Bridgwater & Albion on Saturday, March 1.
