Beth Barzotelli scored five times as Clevedon Ladies hit double figures with a 11-0 victory over Wick Thirds, who fought well but had no answer to the audacious skill of the visiting front line, in the West Women's Brunel Division 2 last Saturday.
Back after a long lay off with injury Kat O'Donovan showed what an influential midfield player she is with a solid display, at the back Libby Barzotelli, Sophie Bowen and Becca Harrill ensured Clevedon goalkeeper Christina Becker kept a clean sheet.
Play was fairly even at the start before Beth Barzotelli opened her account with her first, as she glided through a packed Wick defence, Georgina Blackburn made it two, Caitlin Meredith the third before Barzotelli added another, Vicky Ford popped up to score the fifth to round of the opening half.
After the break Clevedon continued to pour forward, a beautifully crafted short corner routine between Meredith and Barzotelli saw the latter complete her hat-trick. Meredith and Barzotelli ran rampant through the home defence, Meredith got the seventh and Barzotelli added numbers eight and nine showing a level of skill to be admired.
Blackburn was not to be outdone as she added the 10th, finally it fell to Lucy Pope to gain reward for a great performance on the wing.
