Clevedon Athletics Club saw both of their races go really well in great conditions on Boxing Day.
The weather was kind and numbers were good with 864 finishers in the Senior four-mile race and 65 finishers in the Junior's 3km race.
The Senior race was won by Jack Millar from Bristol & West AC in 19 minutes and 29 seconds. Miller has previously finished third and fourth and recorded his first win in the event, 23 seconds clear of his clubmate Andrew Chambers.
The first female runner was also a new winner, Claire Hammett from Thames Hare & Hounds in 22 minutes and 22 seconds. Hammett was followed by former Bristol & West runner Katie Knowles, now running for Newquay Road Runners.
The first home for the Clevedon was Jonah Murray after she finished in 14th place with a wonnderful time of 21 minutes and 11 seconds, this was followed by Ryan Kestle 59 seconds later and Steve Wood in 23 minutes and 41 seconds, finishing third in third with MV50.
Hannah Haines was the first female home in a time of 26 minutes and one second, followed by Debbie Powell in 26 minutes and 45 seconds, where she claimed second FV50.
Sam Bendall-Weeks finished in 27 minutes and 21 seconds, followed by Charlie Hurcum in 28 minutes and 48 seconds, Shawn Holland in 31 minutes and 47 seconds and Rob Grubb, who was in fancy dress, in 42 minutes and 35 seconds.
In the Junior race saw North Somerset Athletics Club dominate with all athletes on the podium, followed by two females finishing in first and second place.
Joseph Finch came home in 9 minutes and 33 seconds, which was followed by Felix Ashby in 10 minutes and three seconds and Oliver Finch arrived home 10 seconds later.
Felicity Lowe took first place in 10 minutes and 45 seconds, followed by teammate Pippa Houghton in 11 minutes and 12 seconds and in third was Westbury Harriers' Lola Simpson in 11 minutes and 22 seconds.
