Vicky Ford scored four goals to help Clevedon Ladies pick up a comfortable 9-0 victory over local rivals North Somerset Gryphons at Gordano School on Saturday.
Playing without a keeper, Clevedon trusted in their forward power to keep the hosts on the back foot.
Lauren Bird and Laura Gillespie dealt confidently, Ella Davey pulled the strings in midfield as the visitors poured forward, the skillful Lucy Pratt, on the right wing, opened the scoring with a well taken goal in the Derby.
Ford reacted first to a loose ball to double the lead and Pratt again proved unstoppable as she added the third to give Clevedon a 3-0 interval lead.
At the start of the second half the home team were pushed back, the persistence of Helen LeFevre put the visitors 4-0 up.
Clevedon were now in full flow as the predatory instincts of Ford saw her brilliantly bag the next three goals.
LeFevre popped up again to make it 8-0, Julie O'Sullivan went close before a well-placed shot from Georgina Blackburn made it 9-0.
On Saturday Clevedon entertain Old Bristolians Fourths in a 1:30pm start at Priory School.
