Clevedon AC’s very own magnificent seven took on the Oldbury 10-mile race recently.
In pretty good conditions, on quiet country lanes, it made the event a really decent showing.
Ben Burns was the first to come home for Clevedon as he finished in seventh place with an excellent time of 58.45.
Matt Crocker was the member to be next over the line where he finished in 25th place in 1.03.51, with Gary Lewis closely followed in 27th place with a time of 1.04.34.
Alex Murray finished in 31st with 1.07.09, Clive Richards was next in 32nd with 1.07.20, Jemma Lewis in 49th place 1.12.16 and Polly Atherton in 64th 1.15.11.
The event, which is also part of the Avon Road Race Championships, saw two Clevedon athletes qualify for a couple of prizes in the series.
Richards finished first in the MV60 and Lewis was third Senior Female.
