Ellie Wallace impressed on her England debut at the ASICS Home Nations 5k race in Cardiff recently.
The North Somerset Athletics Club member competed against teams from Scotland and Wales as well as some pro teams mixed with an elite field of around 50 women.

Two athletes took charge at the front of the field from lap two but with Wallace running very strong she sat in sixth place as the second scorer for England.
On the the last lap Wallace was still in sixth place but in the final 300m she passed two rival athletes to finish in a fantastic fourth place and led the England team to the title.
