After a break last year due to coronavirus, Nailsea Lions is looking forward to getting out and about again this year with its Christmas float, so look out for Santa in the following areas.
Evenings from 6pm until 8pm: December 8 - Porlock Gardens area; December 9 - Backwell, Karen Drive; December 10 - Ash Hayes Road, Scotch Horn Way, Blackthorn Way; December 13 - Hannah More Road; December 14 - Eastway and Westway; December 15 - Backwell, Station Road; December 16 - Causeway View; December 17 - Trendlewood Way (Queen’s Road end); December 20 - Long Ashton, Kings Croft/Pear Tree Ave area; December 21 - Trendlewood Way (Bibury Road area).
The float will also be outside Tesco from 10am-4pm on December 18 and 19.
The main beneficiaries will be a number of smaller, local charities and good causes for whom a small donation can make a huge difference, rather than one large charity.
Nailsea Lions welcome new members of all ages, both men and ladies, to help with their fund raising and enjoy their social activities.
