THE McDonald’s at Portishead Retail Park has reopened following a refurbishment.

The fast-food store, which is owned and operated by local Franchisee Tim Lamb, underwent a “Convenience of the Future” redesign.

The redesign combines a new restaurant layout with up-to-date technology to create a more “seamless and enjoyable experience for customers”.

It involved the removal of the front counter, making more space for diners and offering “a more efficient way to order and will leave customers with more space to enjoy their meal”.

Lamb, who owns and operates 13 McDonald’s restaurants in Somerset, said the revamp will result in a “better experience for everyone”.

“I’m proud to reinvest in our Portishead restaurant - especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year!” he said.

“The new look means our dining area is more contemporary, leading to a better experience for everyone.

“It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Portishead restaurant and I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our fantastic staff.”
