A new partnership aims to solve Christmas gifting dilemmas while supporting a children's charity.
Taste of the West and Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) have teamed up to create a range of artisan charity Christmas hampers.
The hampers, filled with award-winning local produce, are on sale now.
For each hamper sold, 10 per cent will be donated to CHSW.
Taste of the West has collaborated with Devon Hampers to curate food and drink selections from more than 25 of the finest producers in the region.
The collection comprises four festive hampers, ranging from £50 to £125.
Named after CHSW's three children's hospices and the "Festive Feast," the hampers are packed with sweet and savoury treats, including cheeses, biscuits, olives, charcuterie, chocolates, and a variety of drink options.
They can be delivered directly to the doorsteps of recipients.
Hayley Wallbank, regional partnerships fundraiser for CHSW, said: "We are thrilled to be launching our four Children's Hospice South West Christmas hampers for this festive season.
"They are not only a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, but even better, every hamper purchased will be helping to support local children and families supported by our hospices.
"In addition, this is a wonderful opportunity to promote Taste of the West and showcase more than 20 wonderful, local food and drink producers who are not only creating some incredible products right on our doorstep, but who were also extremely keen to support this initiative to help local families."
John Sheaves, CEO of Taste of the West, added: "If you’re looking to buy a quality hamper for someone special, our charity Christmas hampers offer something truly unique – every hamper is filled to the brim with award-winning food and drink made in the South West, and 10 per cent of each one sold will be donated to Children’s Hospice South West.
"So as well as purchasing a quality gift, you can be assured you are supporting local producers with the added benefit of helping support local children and families in the South West."
Orders can be made through Taste of the West’s online store, with deliveries starting from November 18.
This festive season, CHSW will continue to support more than 500 children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, by providing hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care, as well as ongoing bereavement support.
Its three hospices in Devon, Somerset, and Cornwall provide expert care and support for families when they need it most.
Taste of the West now has more than 1,000 members and champions food and drink producers in the West Country, as well as the places that serve and sell them.
