POLICE are looking for witnesses after a hit and run on the A370, near Long Ashton.
The incident, which happened earlier this week on Tuesday, November 12 involved a grey mini that had collided with a bridge on the A370.
The road was closed off, but traffic was barely affected, as the closure was lifted soon after the police and ambulance services arrived at the scene.
A spokesperson from the Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at 10:10pm on Tuesday (November 12) to a report that a grey Mini had collided with a bridge on the A370 near Long Ashton.
"Officers attended, alongside the ambulance service, and found the occupants of the vehicle had left the scene.
"Enquiries to locate the occupants are ongoing."
