Clevedon School marked Remembrance Day (11 November) with an “emotional service” for those who died while fighting for their country.
Some 1500 students and staff took part in the event, as well as veterans and members of the cadet forces.
The service involved a rendition of the Last Post and a student choir, as well as poems read out by students.
Headteacher Jim Smith said: “Yet again we observed Remembrance Day with an emotional service.
“The students were magnificent. We will never forget.”
Remembrance Day events took place across North Somerset, with Nailsea residents marking the occasion with a parade on Sunday (November 10).
