Portishead Town Council is introducing monthly drop-in sessions where locals can talk face-to-face with councillors.
The informal sessions will allow locals to chat informally with their local representatives without having to make an appointment and enjoy complementary tea and coffee.
They will provide an opportunity for residents to “discuss any queries, concerns, or ideas they have about the community”.
A statement from Portishead Town Council said: “All Portishead residents are warmly invited to attend”.
“Whether you have questions about local issues, concerns you'd like to raise, or simply want to find out more about what the council has been working on, this is the perfect opportunity to engage with your councillors in a relaxed setting.”
The first introductory session will be held on Friday 22 November from 3pm to 6pm at Folk Hall in Portishead with the following session taking place on Friday 20 December.
The sessions will continue into the new year, taking place on the last Friday of each month.
