NAILSEA Town Council are supporting a food festival during the run up to Christmas.
Nailsea Town Council are over-the-moon to announce they are joining with eat:Festivals for a eat:Christmas Festival to be held in the Town centre and High Street on Saturday 7 December, 10am - 4pm.
The eat:festivals are all about bringing the community together in festive cheer, promoting the lovely town of Nailsea whilst also supporting independent businesses, the amazing groups and organisations and of course, warmly welcoming visitors.
People will be able to pick up a Christmas gift and stocking filler or two from local businesses and craftspeople whilst enjoying live entertainment.
Hot food and drink stands will be available to keep you warm and toasty whilst there will plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy.
Kids activities will include free Christmas balloon modelling, free face painting, and most excitingly, the Ice Queen herself will be making an appearance singing her popular seasonal hits.
Father Christmas will be outside Home Editions on his sleigh, whilst he takes a well-earned rest from preparing for the festive season with his elves.
Confirmed so far:
• 100 producers including street food in Crown Glass and the High Street
• Entertainers - live music from ‘Follow the Dolphin’ from 10am and then ‘The Twice Dailies’ from 2pm outside Number 65, High Street.
• Father Christmas outside Home Additions
• DJ near Waitrose
• Circus Skills all day on the Green, and a fire dance at dusk
