I would like to ask North Somerset Council why they did not wait until our local MPs had made their presentations to obtain increased funding from the government.
As the area has been seriously disadvantaged in this respect in the past, so in review there is a strong case for an increase of extra support.
If this fails, then there are local considerations, taking into account the importance of local businesses, including independent shops, to thrive.
