Clevedon LitFest's Celebration of the Book is set to return.

The one-day convention will be held at Princes Hall, Clevedon, on November 2, from 10am to 10pm.

It will bring together local authors and book artists from the South West for workshops, talks, and exhibitions.

A free-entry Book and Makers Market will offer a variety of books, stationery, and crafts for sale, with a £15 day pass available for a full schedule of talks and readings.

Evening passes from 6pm are priced at £10.

Workshops will cover topics such as bookbinding, printing, and writing, with novelist Gareth Powell sharing insights into the craft of writing and publishing.

The evening's headline guests, Dr Richard White and Dr Christina Horvath, will discuss their book "Breaking the Dead Silence."

The book includes diverse voices reflecting on the aftermath of the toppling of Bristol’s Colston statue, the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the ensuing heritage culture wars.

A spokesperson for the festival said: "Building on the success of previous years, the convention brings together local authors, book artists, and makers from across the South West for a day of workshops, talks, demonstrations, and exhibitions."
