Cadbury Hall care home staff and residents were treated to a special visit by Louna the dog.
The furry friend, who recently trained to be a therapy dog, was welcomed with open arms.
Louna has an innate sense of who needs extra TLC and loves nothing more than a cuddle, stroke, and treats.
Her visit was the cause of much excitement at Cadbury Hall, where she was greatly appreciated by everyone.
Many of the residents, who have had pets of their own, were particularly thrilled to meet their furry visitor.
Her gentle nature even won over those who are usually cautious of dogs.
Audrene Abrigo, general manager, said: "Our residents love animals so we were delighted that Louna and Mathilda were able to visit.
"It is wonderful to see the residents interacting with Louna, she is such a beautiful dog.
"I think it is fair to say that Luna has a new fan club."
Louna's visit brought joy and a sense of calm to the residents, many of whom lit up at the sight of her.
Cadbury Hall, which provides residential and respite care, is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK's largest care providers.
Barchester is committed to delivering high-quality care across its care homes and hospitals.
The visit from the therapy dog was a testament to their commitment to the well-being of their residents.
