Employees at a Portishead recruitment consultancy firm have spent their 'give back day' helping out at an outdoor centre and educational facility.
Hunter Selection staff spent two days at Goblin Combe doing various tasks, including cleaning and reassembling a yurt, strimming, scything, and repairing planters.
60 employees from four regional offices helped the site be more accessible and look better.
They also cleared overgrown paths and driveways to improve access for vehicles and visitors, and to reduce future costs by prolonging the life of structures.
Emma Hardman, senior consultant, said: "Many of us have used the facilities when we were at school or as club members and it is great to be part of keeping the facility in tip top condition."
The company has given 500 hours in 2023 to community and environmental projects.
In September 2024, Hunter Selection gained B Corp certification, which "cements the 20 years of hard work, trying to be a great business to work for, and a great business to work with."
They are always looking for like-minded people to join them, email careers@hunterselection.co.uk if you're interested.
