A pumpkin hunt is coming to Nailsea this Halloween.
Nailsea Town Council is organising the event, encouraging children to explore the high street to find carved pumpkins.
Participants can collect a map from number 65 High Street on Monday, October 28, starting at 9am.
The activity will finish at 4pm.
After finding all the pumpkins, children can return to No.65 for a "trick or treat" surprise.
An "extra special" prize will be given to those in fancy dress.
The hunt has been organised by Nailsea Town Council's community wellbeing officer, Hayley Orchard.
She said: "We are looking forward to seeing all the wonderfully scary Halloween costumes for a spooky fright!”
The event, which is free, is seen as an "ideal way" to entertain children during the holiday.
The pumpkins have been donated by both Waitrose and Tesco.
