BOLLARDS have been installed along the sea wall in Clevedon “as a safety feature for cyclists”.
North Somerset Council said they are part of the Pier to Pier Way.
A spokesperson said: “We installed bollards along part of the Pier to Pier Way that runs along the Clevedon sea wall as a safety feature for cyclists.
“These bollards are intended to stop bicycle wheels getting caught in the join between the path and the rocks.”
