A free art exhibition by Spectrum65 will open at 65 High Street in Nailsea this month.

The event, following a successful run last year, will take place on October 18 from 12.30pm to 5pm and on October 19 from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors will have the chance to view a range of art pieces, interact with the artists, observe a live art demonstration, and vote for their favourite piece, some of which will be available for purchase.

Tea and coffee will be provided free of charge.

The Spectrum65 art group, responsible for the organisation of the exhibition, is made up of local residents who meet regularly at 65 High Street.

They describe their group as a place to enjoy tea, coffee, cake, and a bit of painting to escape reality for a while.

Trudy Hollow, who manages 65 High Street, said: "The Spectrum65 Art Group work really hard to set up a fantastic art exhibition in No 65, High Street.

"The standard of the exhibits is always truly wonderful and we are really pleased to be able to display the work of the talented artists of Nailsea.

"Please pop into No 65, High Street when you get a minute to see what we offer, we are really proud of our work in Nailsea and would love to meet you."

Last year's exhibition saw more than 250 visitors who lauded the quality of the artwork on display.
