LLOYDS Banking Group have been busy cleaning up Nailsea.

James Turner, part of the team in Bristol, joined 11 staff members weeding and litter picking.

Following instructions from Trudy Hollow, manager of No. 65 on the town's High Street, their aim was to complete as many jobs as possible to improve the look and feel of No. 65 without costing the council time or money.

They were incredibly busy clearing weeds and litter from Millennium Park, removing the leaves from Scotch Horn, and weeding the High Street.

Mr Turner said: "The Bristol Private Banking Relationship team had a great day.

"The weather stayed fine and we worked really hard to tidy up areas of Nailsea that were beginning to look a little scruffy.

"I can definitely recommend the Day To Make A Difference concept to other organisations."
