A MEMBER of staff at Cadbury Hall Care Home has been awarded as a Divisional winner in the Barchester Care Awards, 2024.

Paul Bennett, Head of Maintenance at Cadbury Hall Care Home in Yatton has been selected as the Divisional winner for in the Barchester National Care Awards in the Maintenance Champion category.

Paul has many years of experience working in building and construction; and has experience of maintaining homes and gardens.

He is a great member of the team at Cadbury keeping residents safe and maintaining the home very well.

He leads the gardening club teaching residents about the different vegetables we have planted; and maintains our gardens.

The staff, residents and family members enjoy talking to Paul as he is very approachable.

He enjoys a dance; and a cup of tea with donuts with our residents.

The prestigious Barchester Care Awards is organised by Barchester Healthcare.

The regional finalists from across Barchester’s four divisions will be gathering on October 23, 2024 in person and will be celebrating the awards ceremony virtually as well, the outstanding achievements of Barchester’s many exemplary staff members who work tirelessly to deliver the best care to residents and patients every day.

The care awards take place annually to celebrate the staff who go the extra mile for the benefit of the 12,600 residents living in Barchester’s 250 care homes and private hospitals across the country.

Audrene Abrigo, general manager for Cadbury Hall Care Home said: “This award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in their work and Paul could not be more dedicated to top-quality care.

“We are all so proud of him for reaching this stage of the competition and hope he goes all the way to win the national prize.”

The awards ceremony will be held at The Midlands Hotel in Manchester on October 23, 2024.
