A LADIES' night has raised £800 towards the provision of a low-cost one-to-one counselling service in North Somerset.
A total of 28 women joined the fun at Coates House in Nailsea on Saturday, September 21, enjoying delicious tapas and prosecco, as well as taking part in a quiz and raffle.
The night raised money for Wellspring Counselling.
The charity, which was founded in 1994, provides low-cost one-to-one counselling to anyone in North Somerset aged 11 and over, in a timely manner.
The charity is based in Nailsea but works in eight venues across North Somerset to increase accessibility to everyone in need.
Wellspring relies solely on grants from trusts, foundations, local town and parish councils, as well as fundraising events.
In a post on Facebook, the charity said: “Thank you Coates House for supporting Wellspring by putting on a ladies’ night.
“Amazing food, service and lots of fun and laughs had by all! We raised over £800!”
