AN INDEPENDENT health club is in the running for a prestigious national award having been shortlisted in the Health Club of the Year category.
The Club and Spa at Cadbury House in Congresbury is now entering the next stage of the judging process where they will receive a visit from a member of the National Fitness Awards panel.
The team from the popular health club will then attend a glittering awards ceremony in November where they will find out if they have been successful in the highly sought-after category.
Jason Eaton, general manager at the health club said: “The National Fitness Awards are regarded as being the Oscars of the health and fitness sector.
“To be shortlisted, in what is arguably the biggest category, is a great achievement in itself and I’d like to thank all the team for their continued commitment to make the club and spa the best there is.
“What makes us different here is the constant objective to be the best and to provide our members and guests with the best possible experience.
“That way they achieve their goals while enjoying their experience and time here.
“We continually invest in the facilities and view the club being very much as part of the community in which we’re located.
“The awards attract entries from right across the UK, so we’re up against some impressive competition but we’re hopeful we can bring home the spoils come November.
“And considering the sheer number, range and quality of health clubs up and down the country, to be shortlisted is a great achievement in its own right.”
