A GOURMET extravaganza is set to delight food lovers in North Somerset.
The late summer special, combining culinary delights with perfectly paired wines, will take place on Friday, September 27 at The Garden Room at Cadbury House, Congresbury.
Attendees will be treated to a selection of unique, seasonal dishes, crafted by the venue's executive head chef.
Each course will be paired with wines from the Journey's End Vineyard, located in the renowned winemaking region of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with an assortment of canapés, including smoked salmon mousse cones with caviar, smoked duck crostini with torched orange, and aged balsamic and goat's cheese parfait with slow-roasted beetroot and Granny Smith apple.
The starter will be a burrata with chickpea, roasted squash, and gremolata, paired with Journey's End Weather Station Sauvignon Blanc 2024.
The main course will feature dry-aged beef fillet with brisket bon bon, asparagus, potato foam, dried ceps, nasturtium leaves, and beef jus, served alongside Journey's End Cape Doctor 2018.
The vegetarian option will be a courgette flower stuffed with ratatouille, asparagus, potato foam, and dried ceps, accompanied by Journey's End Destination Chardonnay.
For dessert, guests can enjoy apple mousse with salted caramel and raspberry coulis, paired with Journey's End MCC.
To conclude the evening, tea, coffee, and petit fours will be served.
