A Christmas event is set to return to North Somerset in 2024.
Santas on the Run will see people dressed as Father Christmas, elves, and other festive characters take part in a 2k run on December 8.
The event will take place on the grounds of Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) hospice at Charlton Farm in Wraxall.
This will be the second year the event has taken place at Charlton Farm.
Last year, more than 260 people took part, raising £18,000 for CHSW.
This year, the event kicks off at noon with activities in the specially-created events village.
On the day, there will be entertainment from the Rock Choir, a snow machine, face painters, food and drink, and a festive warm-up by Joe Chapman.
People are encouraged to arrive in festive fancy dress, with prizes for the best-dressed child, adult, pram, and dog.
Money raised from Santas on the Run will go towards offering care and support to families who use CHSW’s three hospices, including Charlton Farm.
Tickets are available to buy online at chsw.org.uk/event/santas-run-north-somerset-2024, and there is currently a Super Santa Saver early bird offer, where entrants can save 30 per cent off full-price tickets until midday on October 2.
Also included in the ticket price is half-price entry to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm on the weekend of the event for the ticket holder and up to four friends and family.
CHSW events fundraiser Hollie Thorogood said: "We can’t wait to see all of Santa’s little helpers at our Santas on the Run event this year and hope everyone can join us for another fun-filled day.
"We’re delighted to hold the event at Charlton Farm for the second year and show people our amazing hospice."
All money raised from Santas on the Run will help CHSW to continue providing care to children living with life-limiting conditions and their families.
