A Volunteers Fair is coming to Nailsea this month.
It will give residents the chance to learn about all the opportunities available from various organisations.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the Scotch Horn Leisure Centre.
Hayley Orchard, community wellbeing office at Nailsea Town Council said: "I am delighted to announce a Volunteers Fair, to take place on Sunday, September 22 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Scotch Horn Leisure Centre in Nailsea.
"This event is a fantastic opportunity for you to see a wide range of volunteer organisations showcasing their work, and to connect with other potential volunteers.
"The Volunteers Fair will feature a diverse range of volunteering opportunities available in Nailsea and is aimed to foster a spirit of community engagement and support.
"With fun activities for both children and adults, and complimentary refreshments, the event promises to be both informative and enjoyable for all attendees.2
The fair offers an array of roles in health and wellbeing, charity work, outdoor adventures among others.
Children's entertainment including a magic show at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm, balloon modelling, and games is also part of the event, all free of charge.
Jo Duffy, Nailsea Town Council clerk said: "Nailsea Town Council is committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents through various community initiatives and events.
"The Volunteers Fair is part of our ongoing efforts to support and celebrate the vital contributions of volunteers and community organisations to Nailsea."
