Explore the West of England by bus with a free ticket which normally costs £7.
The unique offer is available to North Somerset residents, providing unlimited travel for the day on all First Bus services across the region, excluding airport and special event services.
To secure the free day ticket, residents need to submit their details on the First Bus website and download the First Bus app.
The ticket voucher code can then be redeemed directly through the app, with the offer available until September 30.
According to North Somerset Council, "the day ticket provides an excellent opportunity to explore the West of England without worrying about transportation costs.
"The free day ticket grants access to First Bus routes across the region, making it easier than ever to visit local attractions, run errands, or simply enjoy a day out."
North Somerset has exciting events scheduled over the next few weeks.
Residents can travel by bus to Weston Wallz 2024 from August 31 to September 14, where Upfest has revealed an impressive line-up of world-class artists and free arts activity programme.
On September 7, there will be a celebration to mark the 20th anniversary of The Campus in Weston-super-Mare featuring dance routines, martial arts displays, and free activities from 11am to 3pm.
Upcoming events in the area also include the Whirligig Festival of Outdoor Arts, Café Mambo Ibiza Classics on The Beach, and eat:Weston, all happening throughout September.
North Somerset Council is focused on enhancing public transport through the Bus Service Improvement Plan.
Funded by the Department for Transport, the plan aims to create a well-connected, efficient bus network to meet the needs of communities today and in the future.
Councillor Hannah Young, executive member for highways and transport at North Somerset Council, said: "North Somerset and the wider West of England region is a wonderful part of the world to live, work and study.
"The council hopes that many residents will take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to travel for free.
"I hope you’ll use your free pass to support our local businesses and community events but whether you visit a new place or an old favourite, run some errands, or simply save some money on your commute, register now to avoid disappointment!"
