NORTH Somerset Neighbourhood Policing is investigating reports of a group of 'teenagers' causing trouble late last night.
At around 2am on Friday August 23, residents of Haywood Village reported a group of 10 children throwing cones at doors, a watermelon smashed on a doorstep and one 'carrying a rake.'
The police have gathered CCTV which shows the group including 'three blonde females.' But haven't been able to identify these people or gain more detailed descriptions of the other persons involved.
The police have issued this advice to parents: "Please can we ask you to make sure your children are where they are supposed to be at 2AM.
"The Worle beat team alongside the response teams will be conducting enhanced patrols in the area to try and catch the perpetrators.
"Children should not be wandering the streets at 2AM. They should be with their parents and carers, safe, secure, and not putting themselves in harm's way.
"For the residents of Haywood, this is unacceptable and we will support them in trying to catch those involved so appropriate safeguarding can be put in place."
In an emergency, call 999 or 101 if you have information, quoting 5224222785 or report on the police website.
