Organisations in Nailsea can now apply for grants from Nailsea Town Council.

These grants are open for 2025/2026 and are primarily aimed at benefitting the town’s residents.

Nailsea Town Council has a history of awarding financial support to a broad spectrum of organisations and charities.

Applying organisations must fall under the categories of a charity, community ‘not for profit’ crew, or local voluntary association.

Organisations do not have to be strictly located within the council's jurisdiction, however, those situated outside must exhibit direct benefits to Nailsea's residents.

Further information can be found on the council’s website.

Applicants are advised to send in all required documentation before 5pm on 30 September for consideration in the next financial cycle of 2025 to 2026.

The grants for successful applicants will be disbursed in April 2025.

In preparation, those applying are encouraged to go through the ‘Grant Process and Eligibility and Criteria forms’ provided on the council’s website.

For those applying who have benefitted from a council grant in the past, completion of the ‘Grant Evaluation Form’ will also be required.

Jo Duffy, Nailsea Town Council clerk said: "We are very pleased to open our grant applications to any qualifying organisation in Nailsea and look forward to receiving your submissions before the deadline on the 30th of September 2024."

Last year the council gave out grants amounting to over £62,596 to various beneficiaries.

Recipients included the Christmas Tea Party 2024, Friends of Stockway North Nature Reserve, Artful Minds, Nailsea Playing Fields Association, Nailsea Community Group, Nailsea Little Theatre, Nailsea and District Horticultural Society, Nailsea Choral Society and Nailsea Concert Orchestra, among several others.

The aim of this opportunity is to enable Nailsea organisations to attain financial assistance that could make a difference to the Nailsea community.

Applications are welcomed and more information is readily available on the Nailsea Town Council website.

It is advised that all applicants meet the submission deadline of 5pm on 30 September to ensure consideration.
