DOUBLE yellow lines have been introduced on a Clevedon street after residents complained about inconsiderate parking.
A spokesperson for North Somerset Council said: “We’ve introduced double yellow lines on The Beach in Clevedon, following feedback from local residents that their driveways are being blocked by inconsiderate parking between the marked bays.
“If you’re visiting beautiful Clevedon (or indeed anywhere in North Somerset) please park considerately.
“You could even try out the new Pier to Pier Way which is now fully open, linking Clevedon and Weston, and arrive by bike.
“Or hop on one of the bus routes serving Clevedon – remember adults can travel for just £2 at the moment.
“More changes to the parking arrangements and cycleway are due to be made following an independent review of the Clevedon Seafront and Hill Road scheme.
“We commissioned the review after public concerns around safety and accessibility.
“The changes are due to be completed ahead of the 2025 summer season.”
