Barchester Cadbury Hall Care Home hosts summer party

A culmination of staff, residents, and the local community saw a BBQ held and enjoyed on the grounds of the home on June 22nd.

The hospitality team at Cadbury Hall served a mouth-watering selection, including burgers, hotdogs, chicken skewers, potato salad and homemade coleslaw that all in attendance certainly enjoyed.

Guests, including friends and families to both the residents and the home’s staff, as well as the top team from Claverham and Winford RDA, saw local singer Chris Auburn entertain all with golden oldies in addition to modern music.

The residents were made-up with their afternoon, resident Dorothy said afterwards: “I thoroughly enjoyed the day, surrounded by lots of great people. Thankfully, the weather held out until we finished. Staff did a great job, not just on the day, but in organising the event and getting everyone together.”

Audrene Abrigo, General Manager at the home, said: “Staff at Cadbury Hall are dedicated to making sure that the home is a hub of the local community, and this event, along with all of their hard work, has definitely paid off. It was a resounding success!”
