The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for 'heavy rain' from 6pm tonight. (July 8).
In place until 3am (July 9) covering Devon, North Somerset and Somerset, heavy and persistent rain this evening, could cause some impacts on travel and infrastructure.
The Met Office says 'people can expect Bus and train services affected with journey times taking longer, Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer and Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely.'
Heav rain could also cause localised flooding, you can check flood alerts on the Environment Agency website. Also check before you travel via road that the route is clear from flood water.
