The Lloyds Bank community banking drop-in facility in Nailsea has been extended until January 2025.
Its site at No 65 High Street was opened in February, and was initially intended to run until June.
However, due to the valuable service it provides to the local community, the facility will now continue to operate on Fridays between 9.00am and 3.00pm for another seven months.
Customers can expect help from community bankers on tasks such as payments and transfers.
They are also able to guide clients on how to use the bank's services.
It is important to note there won't be any cash services available.
Assistance with account management, including managing contact details, change of address, ordering replacement cheque books, and registering complaints, amongst others, will also be provided.
Further telephone or app and website support will be extended for registering a death or power of attorney, and assistance with money concerns or scam incidents.
Trudy Hollow, manager of No 65, said: "We are very pleased that Lloyds Bank are continuing to work with No 65 to offer a Community Banker drop-in facility for our local residents and that this has been so successful that it is being extended until January 2025."
