A LEISURE facility in Clevedon has unveiled its revamped gym after closing its doors earlier this month to install new equipment.
The Everyone Active Stadium – which is home to Clevedon Town Football Club – closed its gym to allow for a full redecoration and the installation of new equipment.
Now reopened, the gym has been given a fresh lease of life, complete with top-of-the-range equipment, a refreshed layout, and an all-new social area.
Ten new pin-loaded machines have been installed in the gym, including an abductor and adductor, four treadmills, two cross trainers, and three bikes.
The gym also has a new layout, which has already been met with praise from customers.
Keri Huxtable commented on the site’s Facebook page: “The new arrangements make the inside look bigger.”
The new social area at the front of the gym has been designed to cater to the thriving fitness community within Clevedon.
General manager of The Everyone Active Stadium, Ceinwen Williams, said: “We’re delighted to unveil our refreshed gym and welcome the community back to the fantastic facilities on their doorstep.
“The feedback has already been brilliant, with both existing customers and gym newcomers praising the revamped look and new equipment.
“We encourage all corners of the community to pay us a visit here at The Everyone Active Stadium.”
The facility has recently launched a new exercise class schedule too, designed to cater for different ages, abilities, and interests.
This includes a weekly session for people living with Parkinson’s, which is led by a qualified instructor and comprises exercises to help manage and ease symptoms of the disease.
The centre provides free memberships to anyone living with Parkinson’s disease.
Also on the refreshed exercise programme is ‘Energise’, a 12-week course for those experiencing mental health problems, which is in partnership with the NHS.
Focusing on supervised gym sessions or gentle yoga, the course is designed to support overall health and wellbeing.
