A COLLISION on a connecting road in North Somerset forced a temporary road closure and left two injured.
The crash involving three vehicles occurred at around 12pm today (Friday, May 31) on the Brockley Combe Road, near Backwell.
As a result a stretch of road from the A370 junction to the paintballing site off Brockley Combe Road was closed for over two hours.
Police and ambulance services attended, and two people were treated for minor injuries.
The road reopened at around 2:30pm.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at around noon today (Friday 31 May) to a three-vehicle collision in Brockley Combe Road, Brockley.
"Emergency services attended and two people were treated at the roadside for minor injuries.
"The road was closed from the A370 junction to the paintballing site off Brockley Combe Road. It has now reopened.
"We would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding."
